A Final Look Towards 2013

Alhamdulillah…..May Allah blesses us with a good strength and health! I’m still here to continue my cake stories again after a really really long silence!!!

There are many things to share since I didn’t come up for a long time and please do apologies me……and sometimes I’m wondering, is there anyone keep on waiting for my updates lately? Hihihi……

We’re not just in school holiday’s mode right now– enjoying days with celebration, parties, weddings and weekend outings, but also in the midst of 2013 preparation and plans. To dear parents, don’t miss the ‘back to school grand sales’ as the school will open soon.

As I take a look back on the past months??? – It’s a year dear!!…hahaha…, I cannot believe how busy and fulfilling it has all been. There have been sleepless nights, a sinking-ship home with cake parts all over the house, stressful night deliveries and having unhealthy schedule meals and I believed it was a memorable part in life with the family!

A great thanks to my encouraging friends and loyal customers who stays alert with Cakestories and keep on coming back with more orders, and also to those who pass my name introducing this bakery!

Last but not least, thank you to Mr.Asben and kids (big enough now to help me) during packaging and for helping me out to clean the entire messy-dessy kitchen! Muuaaahh…..

Sept onwards – I had only limited pics as there were mostly repeated orders  of dinosaur egg muffins, mini pavlovas and  layered cakes.

 

Sept 9^th – The most adorable toppers to design…..i really love it and give my best time to make it happened! Thank u to Ms. Izzati for the order – Chocolate lava cc with MU toppers!

 

July 13^th – Another chocolate heaven sandwich cake ordered by Mrs. Khairul for her soul mate bday!

July 3^rd – A Chocolate heaven sandwich cake for the bday girls ordered by Mrs. Khairul. Thank u so much for keep on repeating orders from cakestories!

June 29^th – Chocolate heaven cc in maroon white theme for the bride to be – Farhan n Zetty. Thank u Rina!

 

May 25^th – Tq to Mrs. Azleen for her loyalty with Cakestories and she requested a fruit cake for her brother in law’s big day. A sweet colour been chosen this time, white and peach….mmmmm..

Another set of mini-cakes waiting to be touch-up by these ‘gebu’ fingers…hehehe. Ideas by ideas passing by after receiving a call from my close fren-Pn.Sabariah, requesting a special gift wedding hantaran for her nephew. Tq again and again for the order and for being loyal to cakeStories!

I put on all my effort to make this happen, keep reminding myself that good food comes from the heart! Red carpet and black formal dresses…..does it look good enough? I believed, combination of the best colors will make it a delight for both the taste buds and the eyes. First and foremost, i really enjoy what I’m doing…..For both the bride and bridegroom, this is the first step into a real live journey together and my doa….put all the warmest love and caring together till end.  Amiin….

I made her poppy-butter mini cakes (heart-shape). This is what it looks like before it dress-up.

First time using a homemade glassy look-like cakeboard……just want to make it different from others.

Go!Go!Go!…do not ever look back!……..i realize that it was not as easy as 123 to make a perfect gifts for all….Need a full strength, patience and also sacrifice; means…no routine job been done for the day……so….no special dish, no laundry, no this, no that…….anyone facing the same situation like me too???? hohoho…….Errk! I have to stop here…..Penalty for M’sia Vs Indon…..wait arrr…….

Almost a week I was up till 4a.m working out for these cakes decorations…..4 types of orders at the same time….huwaaaa!…No matter what happen, i have to face it! It’s a  reality show ladies! hahaha……Anyway, a very special thanks to Katrina for the orders and giving me the faith to fulfill your big day! TQ! TQ!

I really like the perfect colors of apple green on this cake! Actually I’ve posted this pic before my pc’s sent to ICU…hihihi…..but without any story behind the scene. ….Believe me! This is the first 3 tiers wedding cake i’ve made! Fuhhh….. Alhamdulillah, it really works! TQVM to my mom & dad for looking after the kids and cook for us on that day…….and of cz to my deary….i knew i shouldn’t do this during their vacation here…hehehe……lots of love to all of u, mmuuaaahhh…….TQVM to Mrs.Azleen, u really gives us ur warmest support!

Sept 30th – A flowery chocolate frosting cake for Al-Husni kids birthday who really, really loves chocolate!!!

Aug 18th ~ 25th: No pic been taken for Hari Raya orders…….hehehe…..super duper bz beb! Just wanna thanks to all who ordered the Sarawak Layered cakes……A big hug from Cakestories!

Aug 1st – Pandan layered cake for Berbuka puasa……this was the best idea from a mum, a teacher and a cook for her family, Pn. Sabariah…….it was really refreshing dessert and totally to see something different on the table this Ramadhan….TQVM k.Saba!!
